Yeehaw!

This card, hands down, was the hot item this past week.

Apparently, there are quite a few Cowboys and Cowgirls celebrating a birthday....

All of the pictures i received for these cards are simply priceless.
A very, very Happy Birthday to these here Cowboys and Cowgirl!

Don't Stop 'Till You Get Enough!

When my ridiculously talented friend, Hillary Duarte, sends me photos of adorable newborn babies i can't help but want to make as many new cards as possible to display them.
As you can see from my previous post, i created a card with baby Kensington and her big sister, Berlin, for her birth announcement. But there were a couple of photos that i thought were too cute - and i had to do them justice with a new creation!

This photo in particular was irresistible...

Kensington & Gage...a birth and big birthday!

I've only ever done one sided cards for my Etsy shop, but two of my latest creations were made as two sided cards - since there was waaaaay too much cuteness to only use one side...

More cards soon!

Just Arrived...

I thought it was about time to post some of my latest birth announcement creations. For the sake of Etsy, it's always good to show what a card would look like in different colors and fonts, depending on the occasion of the creation. Because of this, the babies in the cards sometimes stay the same...but the gender theme of the card changes for illustration purposes :)

All photos courtesy of Hillary Duarte Photography

And...if you haven't noticed or assumed, some of these are made for example purposes, therefore i have to make up names. Apparently i favor the last name "Andrews" a lot, and need to think of some new ones. Either way, you get the idea ;)

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail

Well maybe not all that soon...but Easter is right around the corner, so I've started creating some cards for the holiday. Both are now available on Etsy:

Both Photos by Hillary Duarte Photography

I'll be working on more over the next couple of weeks, some of which i hope will include birth announcements.

And until i have a "fancy" blog created, I'll be tagging all my cards by occasion or holiday so that you can find them easily by clicking on the tag words shown to the side.

Made for Mexico

My friend Kate has been engaged for almost two years now. Over the course of those roughly two years, she and her fiance have had a few different thoughts on wedding plans.

After many different ideas, they finally decided on the perfect spot to get married...MEXICO!

The next step: Notifying all of their family and friends.

They wanted something personal, like a letter, but with a beachy feel. I couldn't resist the opportunity to create something for them. Something that wasn't a "Save the Date," which Dave did not want, but something a bit more sentimental.

With words from the bride & groom-to-be, and a little vision of my own, Kate & Dave's Mexico wedding plans were announced:

Cheers to Kate & Dave!

Be My Little Valentine

I was trying to think of the best way to "start" my blog...perhaps with an opening post to tell every about me, or explain how I got into creating photo cards and stationery. But then i remembered that I'm a Mom, and Mom's don't have much time. SO...I'm bloggin' while the bloggin' is good and jumping into some of my favorite clients this month.

First, I have to say that the month of February, and Valentine's Day, make for some adorable ideas when it comes to photo cards. But a card is only as adorable (and what i like to call delicious) as the picture in it.

AND, when i think delicious, i think of these little Valentine's:

Baby Bella
Bella's Mom had contacted me to ask some questions about this birth announcement. I was so excited when she reached out in hopes that I would be able to create this for her. After receiving her super cute photo (and who can resist a bare baby bottom?!?), and working in the names of her proud family members, this is what was created:
Miss Maggie

First off, can we all please note just how fashionable Maggie's hat is? Or how irresistible she looks wearing it? Maggie's Mommy mentioned that she was a bit behind in ordering her Valentine's as Maggie had been a bit under the weather. I don't know about you, but i think she looks PERFECT in this picture!:

And last but not least...

Addison

Honestly, i just LOVED this photo when Addison's Mom sent it to me. It just captures how happy she is at that moment in time. The funny thing about this...the little girl in the photo card i posted for sale on Etsy is also named Addison. I guess i should think of renaming it for next year as the "Addison Card.":

Up next are Easter/Spring cards, and some other new creations in between!
